Super Students Mackenzie and Ashley
Today we celebrate two students who are out there showing that Oaklands students are awesome.
Mackenzie received a certificate for Ribbon Day which is the first competition of the season where they get awarded different ribbons depending on the points they get on each apparatus. She placed 11th out of 21. The extra ribbon is from the Marlborough Championships held in Blenheim where she received enough marks on her bar to get the next coloured ribbon.
Way to go, Mackenzie
Congratulations MACKENZIE HILLYER

Winter Sport, Friday 25th July
The draw for this Friday's sport can be viewed by clicking on the WINTER SPORT tab. Unfortunately, 4 teams have a bye. This is out of our hands and is due to there being an uneven number of teams in the competition.
Winter Tournament
The SW Zone Winter Tournament will be held this WEDNESDAY, 23rd July at South Hagley Park (Netball), Nancy's Corner North Hagley (Rugby) and Carlton Corner North Hagley (Football and hockey).
The draw, rules and location of field / court for each team can be found on the WINTER TOURNAMENT page tab above.
We will be leaving at 8:45am so students need to be at school by 8:30 in order to allow time for roll call, checking of gear and explanation of the day's timetable.
At present the weather is not looking promising and we expect a decision to be made tomorrow as to whether the event goes ahead on Wednesday or gets postponed.
