Touch Rugby success
Touch rugby at Halswell was a huge hit with students. We had 15 teams involved, and two of them WON their respective competitions.
In the Under 7 grade the mighty RAIDERS took out first prize, receiving individuals and a team trophy. This trophy is currently on a tour around the players' houses.
In the Under 11 grade the victorious VIPERS finished with an unbeaten record. They are a well coached, drilled and skilled team of friends who love their sport.

Kauri Top Team event - Wednesday 2nd April
Tomorrow (Wednesday) the Kauri team will be out on the field participating in a range of co-operative challenges organised by the Sport Canterbury Top Team crew. Based on the hit show 'Top Town' students will be divided into teams based on their house colour. There will be about 12 teams, with 6 events on offer. That means that 2 teams will be competing against each other at each event.
Students will need to bring a change of clothes (bring sports clothes) to wear as they make get a little wet or a little dirty.
Students should come in their school uniform and change into their sport clothes before the event.
Students should come to school prepared to participate in the event even if the weather doesn't look good.
